Born and raised in Halifax, John completed his Bachelor of Commerce degree at St. Mary's University. Before joining the Ledgers team, John enjoyed success in working firstly for a National retailer then following up with a position at the Provincial newspaper.

His formal education and the experience gained throughout his career were beneficial in his opportunity to join Ledgers.

John, married with 2 children, is very active in community affairs and sits on the Board of Directors for the Truro Chamber of Commerce.
